aPower 101

Is it possible for one person to lift the aPower unit?

No. The current aPower is 395lbs so it is recommended that the aPower unit be handled by at least two people using the necessary tools, and generally recommended to utilize a dolly or lift for moving it with at least 3 people present.

What are the LEDs on the aPower ?

There are different versions of aPower LEDs depending on the version of the device. The LEDs show state of charge, charging status, malfunction, and shut off. In normal operation, the LEDs show the current state of charge of the aPower, starting from the bottom. For example, when 20%≤Current SOC<40%, only the first LED segment is on.

Charging: The LEDs are lit up to current charge and the next higher LED section is flashing.

Discharging: The LEDs indicate the current SOC level.

Standby: The LEDs display current SOC.

Malfunctioning: All LEDs flash together in a 1s cycle.

Shutdown: All LEDs flash the same way as Malfunction when the aPower is shut down in on-grid mode. All LEDs turn off when the FHP is shut down in off-grid mode.

How do I view the status of each aPower unit?

You can view the status of each aPower unit by going to the Home page to view the details.

What if the aPower AC charging/discharging wire diameter is too small?

The use of 10AWG copper wires is recommended. A smaller wire diameter may lead to excessive heat, resulting in the potential for fire or damage.
