Emergency Procedures for Installers

Following National Electrical Codes are vital when installing our product. Please consult the licensed electrician on your team if you ever have any safety concerns.

Please note:

Failure to follow the instructions and/or warnings in the installation of FHP products may result in electric shock, severe personal injury or even death. It can cause product damage and potentially void the warranty. We strive to provide high quality training and encourage your team to call us any time they are unsure or need guidance.

In case of any abnormal noise, odor or smoke:

• Check to ensure the air vent of the aPower  is not blocked.

• Keep the installation site well ventilated.

• Contact us once on site for further guidance.

In case of fire:

• Shut off the aPower (silver) power button if it is safe to do so.

• Evacuate to safe area.

• Contact emergency services as soon as it is safe to do so.

• Use approved fire extinguishing devices if it is safe to do so.

• Contact our support team when it is safe for your team to do so.

In case of flooding:

• Allow flooded area to dry completely prior to any inspection or attempt to energize the system.

• If the wiring sections of an aGate or aPower are submerged, please keep away from the water. It is an electrocution hazard.

• Drain the water to protect your FHP, if it is safe to do so.

• If water reaches the battery, please schedule an inspection. If the water level is below the battery, please completely dry the site and your FHP before use.
