System Commissioning Instructions

System commissioning is a professional operation, and the following requirements must be observed before commissioning: 

Power-on &commissioning must be authorized by trained personnel.

Ensure that aPower and aGate are installed completed firmly in the place before commissioning.

Ensure that aPower stop bush is off and the aGate breakers are turned off position.

Ensure that the system ground is installed.

Ensure that the signal and power cables are connected correctly and firmly. 

 

 

 

Step 1: Install APP and register user account

Download and install FranklinWH APP. 

Channel I: Scan the QR code to download and install APP. 

Channel II: Search FranklinWH in AppStore/ GooglePlay to download and install APP.

Help user register the account number, and then records the email account for future service. 

 

Step 2: First Power-on

  1. Keep all breakers at the off positions. 
  2. Push the aPower push button up to active the aPower unit one by one.

Step 3: Log in to the commissioning account

Login commissioning account(Only for the commissioning use). 

Enter App homepage, connect Wi-Fi hotspot from aGate named as “AP_” started and click "OK".  

 

 

 

Step 4: Setting parameters

Return to App main interface to obtain the units status information as above.

Click the user common setting interface to configure latitude/longitude information and network information.

Return to the main interface and click the icon of the first install, enter the automatic address interface, enter the number of addresses (not exceeding 15).

Return the main UI and click enter the system parameter setting interface and set the parameters of electrical policy, resource policy, and battery policy.

Enter the on-grid compliance interface in the system parameters setting, set the parameters for on/off-grid connections according to local grid policy.

Enter the parameter setting page in the system parameter settings and set the breakers capacity, PV capacity, and generator power configured by the customer.

Enter the APP UI binding page to bind the user email accounts and equipment.

  • Turn on the grid breaker.
  • Return the main UI

Enter UI of Device Settings, active the debug mode icon, set the charge and discharge settings, debug the unit charge and discharge functions.

Close PV input breaker and active the PV input. App back to main UI.
 

Step 5: Setting of system operating mode and smart circuit settings

Logout of the commissioning account and re-login the user account shown in step 1.

Check the main UI after re-login successfully, go to the front page to view the information of previously bound units.

Go to the settings page and set up the system work mode. Log out of the user account.

Go to the load control page to control the intelligent load branch ON/OFF (if optional). Please ignore it if not selected.
