Disabling the 4G renewal purchase function


We’re currently in the process of disabling the 4G renewal purchase function in the installer app. As a result, the option to enter a 4G purchase authorization code in the App is no longer available, since the 4G connection will now operate continuously without requiring renewal.


What this means for you:

  • Refund:  FranklinWH will cover the cost of the 4G connection, and If you have purchased the 4G renewal plan, you’ll receive a refund for the 4G plan purchase within 7 to 10 business days.
  • Best Practice: While the 4G service will continue, we recommend connecting your FHP system to either the home router via ethernet or a Wi-Fi network. This ensures more stable connectivity, as 4G alone may not always provide reliable uptime.
